Mahesh Joshi on four -day Ed Remand, Water Life Mission Scam that is being investigated knows the whole truth
The ED arrested former Cabinet Minister Mahesh Joshi in the scam of the Water Life. The Ed introduced him at the judge’s home late at night, from where the Ed received four days of detention. Now Joshi will be questioned for four days. A scam of more than Rs 625 crore comes out in the water life mission. Many engineers and contractors from the department were arrested in this case. In January last year, Ed also attacked the houses of several engineers, including Mahesh Joshi. However, after the arrest, Mahesh Joshi said in a statement to the media that he was falsely involved. In this case, he didn’t take anyone from anyone. Joshi said he was involved on the basis of the statements of the people he acted as minister. How did a false certificate fraud occurred? The completion certificates of the work done under the Water Life Mission were issued in the name of the government company Ircon. Ircon wrote a letter to the state government stating that no such certificate was issued by him, but that no action was taken against him because of the connection of the then ministers and officials. Sharma said the first fir of this scam was filed on his complaint in the ACB. However, he also mentioned the involvement of many officials in the scam. Based on this fir, the ED registered a case. In his complaint, the ED also mentioned that the FIR of ACB was submitted in Rajasthan on August 8, 2023, in which the tenders issued under the Water Life Mission were investigated in the financial year 2021-22. In this case, ED has submitted two firs. These FIRs were submitted by the assistant director of ED. – The first fir (215/2023) in this case was submitted by ACB Jaipur on August 8, 2023. In this, a case is registered against Piyushchand Jain, Padmchand Jain and Mahesh Mittal under Article 120B of the prevention of corruption against the owners of the company that provides Tubewells in the project. -Arajsthan police registered a second fir in this case. Additional Phed Chief Engineer Ajay Singh Rathore filed a case against unknown persons in terms of Articles 420, 467, 468, 471 from IPC. In this case, Ganpati Tubewell Company contracts worth Rs 538 Crore and Shyam Tubewell Company Rs 86 crore.
