Two hours later, the accused Navagachia police arrested the accused two hours after the incident and also confiscated the weapon used in the incident. Navagachiya SP Prerna Kumar said the Gopalpur police station received information that a woman was shot dead in the Tintanga Karodi town at about 20:00 on Thursday night. Once the incident was reported, a team from the Gopalpur police station immediately reached the place and inspected and called the forensic team while keeping the place safe. A special team was established to arrest the accused. The team arrested the accused Prakash Mandal in just two hours.
