Indo-Nepale border outages in safety, four suspects tried illegal infiltration, SSB failed

A case of a serious safety course came to light on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from the Madhubani district. In the afternoon, four suspected people tried to illegally cross the border near the Indo-Nepal border at the border of the 48th Corps Sashastra Seema Ball (SSB), Simarari, Czechpost Mahinathpur. The incident occurred in the Basopatti police station near the border pillar no. 276/5. According to SSB officials, these suspects tried to infiltrate India, when the soldiers posted on the border. The soldiers immediately challenged them and tried to stop. Meanwhile, the four people started running away, after which the chase was chased for some time. Although the four invaders have managed to escape to Nepal, their activities are considered extremely suspicious and worrying in border safety. Shortly after the incident, SSB issued a warning in the area and Nepal’s border safety agencies were also notified. Monitoring was increased on both sides of the border and interrogation is done in the surrounding towns. An official of the SSB 48th Corps said: “The four persons tried to enter the Indian area. The infiltration of the soldiers failed. The case is being investigated by coordinating with Nepal police. Local intelligence units were also warned.” This incident occurred at a time when illegal activities, smuggling and human trafficking cases are constantly increasing on the Indo-Nepal border. In such a situation, this incident is happened on the border as a serious warning for security agencies. Local administration and intelligence agencies have also become active on the matter and the possibility that the activities of suspected persons are related to an organized gang or criminal network. The residents were warned to immediately notify the police or SSB if they looked at a stranger or suspicious activity.
