Maharashtra: 59 new cases of Corona infection registered, one death

Mumbai, June 19 (IANS). There is a steady increase in Kovid-19 cases in Maharashtra. The Department of Health said on Thursday that 59 new cases have been reported in Maharashtra over the past 24 hours. During this time there is also news about the death of a person. On Thursday, 59 new patients from Korona, including Mumbai-13, Thane-1, Navi Mumbai-1, Panvel-1, Pimpri-Chinchwad-8, Satara-2, Sangli-1, Sangli MC-1, Kolhapur MC-6, Nagpur MC-2 and Chandrapur. At present, the total number of active cases in the state has been registered in Mumbai 389 912 cases since January. 1 case was received in January, 1 in February, 4 in April, 435 in May and 471 in June. It is a matter of relief that mild symptoms are seen in all patients. A total of 23.923 Covid tests have been performed in Maharashtra since January 2025, of which 2228 patients were found positive.
