How are the food of trees and plants?
Trending How does the food of trees and plants sell? Have you ever wondered how trees and plants earn their food and how much it is for us? Trees and plants make their food through a specific process ‘photosynthesis’ and we get the oxygen needed for life. In this process, the plants form glucose and oxygen by taking carbon dioxide from sunlight, water and atmosphere. This whole process is in a structure called chloroplasts present in plant cells, which have green color. Chloroplasts have a green pigment called chlorophyll, which absorbs sunlight and turns it into energy. Chlorophyll mainly absorbs the blue and red light of the sun, so that the leaves of the plants look green to us. The process of photosynthesis takes place in two main phases, one that depends on sunlight and the other without light. In the first phase, energy is obtained from sunlight, which accumulates the plants as ATP and Nadph. In the second phase, using this energy, the plants transform carbon dioxide into glucose, which is their food. Photosynthesis is of two types, C3 photosynthesis, which occurs in cold and moist areas and C4 photosynthesis, found in hot and dry areas. Trees and plants not only make their own food, but also provide oxygen for us. Click here Life & Style Click for more stories Click here
