6.52 lakh -jersey stolen from the shanks stadium, arrested security guard

A shocking case came to light from the Wankhekhei Stadium included in the country’s prestigious cricket stadiums. 261 jerseys worth about Rs 6.52 Lakh were stolen from the shopping room on the second floor of the stadium. In this case, a security guard Farukh Aslam Khan was arrested by police. According to the information, it is said that the stolen jersey comes from a private company that was held for sale in the stadium on occasions. When the stadium management investigated the store, it is thought to reduce the goods. After this, the complaint of the incident was made at Marine Drive police station. Police began investigating CCTV footage and questioning the suspects. During the investigation, the needle from suspicion to security guard Farukh Aslam Khan placed in the stadium. When he was questioned in custody, he admitted to theft. Police also restored some of the stolen jerseys of the accused and now it is being investigated where he sold or handed over this jerseys. An attempt is also made to find out if someone else was involved in this theft. This incident also asked questions about the stadium security system. No official statement on the case was unveiled from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), but sources say internal investigation was also started.
