Hindu and Muslim court people celebrated in court. Zafar allowed his Hindu ministers to put Gulal on the head and cheek. Bahadur Shah Zafar himself also wrote many fags. He had a famous fag, “Why is the color of the color, look at Kunwarjidungi Main Gari.” A large fair was held on the banks of the Yamuna behind the Red Fort. Crowds met from the fort to Rajghat. Musicians and artists performed their skills. The women of Haram saw this view from the palace windows and used the emperor to reward the artists themselves. By the last days of Bahadur Shah Zafar’s reign, the British completely dominated the power of India. After the revolt of 1857, he was arrested and sent to Rangoon.
