US attack on Iran reveals new possibility of discussions: Israeli ambassador to India (IANS interview)

New -Delhi, June 22 (IANS). Israeli ambassador to India, Ruveen Azar, praised US attacks in Iran. He said with the Ians news agency on Sunday that the move Iran offers the opportunity to return to the table of ‘honest’ diplomatic dialogue. On the Iran’s claim with “no damage to the targets”, Ambassador Azar said: “Iran is trying to inform the impact of these attacks, but the reality is that American and Israeli attacks were very accurate and impressive. These attacks have pushed Iran’s nuclear program back many years. ‘ He said that even though Iran had already removed uranium in advance, the facilities of enrichment and conversion were destroyed. He said, “Iran must destroy the uranium with it and send it out of the country.” Azar said that I am not aware of the plan of any military campaign on Israel or America right now. But it is clear that Iran got a strict message. About the role of Pakistan, he said: “I currently have no idea that Pakistan gives core aid to Iran.” He said: “I don’t think we are moving to the world war. Israel took limited and targeted action with responsibility. It is only against our plan of destruction of Iran.” He said that the US attack has strengthened Israeli efforts and that a ‘window of dialogue’ is open. The Israeli messenger said: “We recently restored the bodies of three more civilians killed by Hamas on October 7, 2023. So far we have brought more than 200 hostages, while 50 are still missing, of which about 20 is likely to live.” He said that Israel took control of the spread of humanitarian aid, so that the grip of Hamas could be weakened. He said: “We will continue this war in Gaza until Hamas is completely eliminated.” The ambassador said: “Our goal is not to change power, but to eliminate the dangers arising from the core and ballistic rocket program of Iran.” When he targets the highest leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, he said: “We don’t ignore any option. Our goal is to completely eliminate the dangers that a crisis exists for us.” The ambassador expressed dissatisfaction with Sonia Gandhi’s article, saying: “We are disappointed that the politicians mentioned did not condemn the attacks on October 7. It is completely unacceptable to ignore Iran’s three decades of aggression.” On the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s peace, Ambassador Azar said that if Iran ended its nuclear program and regional aggression, there is a space for diplomacy. He hoped that Iran would adopt a creative and responsible attitude so that stability and peace could be brought back to the region. -Ians DSC/
