President Drupadi Murmu inaugurated President Tapovan and Niketan in Dehradun

New -Delhi, June 20 (IANS). President Draupadi Murmu attended the inauguration ceremony of President Tapovan and President Niketan in Dehradun on Friday. He inaugurated public facilities, including visitor facilitation center, cafeteria and souvenir shop and laid the groundstone of the president’s Udyan in President Niketan. He also inaugurated an amphitheater in President Niketan on Thursday. The President Tapovan, located on the Rajpur road in Dehradun, is part of the extensive president’s country wealth on 19 hectares of the foothills of the Himalayas. It emphasizes spiritual shelter and ecology protection. There is a dense forest rich in indigenous flora, 117 plant species in Tapovan, 52 varieties of butterflies, 41 bird species and seven wild mammals, including some preserved species. The region has natural bamboo orchards and loneliness ecosystems. President Niketan was founded in 1976 as the president’s home. The rich heritage has been since 1838, when it served as a summer camp for the estate of the estate -governor -general. It is spread over 21 hectares and contains lily ponds, historic buildings, gardens and stables. This president, expanded to a total of 132 hectares, will be fully accessible as a public park for the disabled, along with a model of garden, public parks, comfort and ecological responsibility. Its purpose is to become a center for community participation in promoting health, culture and civil pride among citizens. On this occasion, a book was also released on the biodiversity of President Niketan, President Tapovan and the Presidential Park. The book describes more than 300 Flora of President Niketan, Tapovan and Garden and more than 170 organisms, including butterflies, birds and mammals. President Tapovan is open from June 1 from 1 June and President Niketan to visit the general public. The president visited the National Vision Disabled Empowerment Institute in Dehradun and also died with the students. He visited the Model School Science Laboratory and Computer Laboratory as well as an exhibition. On this occasion, the president said that the progress of a country or society could be judged from how people in society treat the disabled. The history of India is full of inspirational themes of sensitivity and inclusion. Our culture and civilization have always been involved in human compassion and feelings of love. He said that the government, through easy Bharat Abhiyan, who emphasizes the development of an accessible physical environment, transport, information and communication ecosystem, makes the government efforts for empowerment and equal participation of the disabled. The president said the era of today is the era of science and technology. Using advanced technology, disabled people can also contribute to the mainstream. He was pleased to know that the national vision particularly emphasized the All -Round development of students through the Divyangjan Empowerment Institute Inclusive Education System and the latest technical resources.
