Changing Indore Travel from Tanga to Metro over 30 years, improves public transport, but traffic is bad

Indore has never changed so quickly over the past 30 years. Infrastructure is improved, new hospitals, schools and colleges have been opened. The city’s public transport system has also changed in this thirty years. Up to 30 years ago, Ghodagadi and Tempo dominated the city. Pace’s pollution training earlier ran across the city. When they were closed 25 years ago, the Round of City Service (Matador) began. Now city buses have replaced them. Town buses run on more than 60 routes throughout the day. More than 1.5 lakh passengers travel daily in these buses. Now the metrophase is about to start in Indore. On May 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will set the virtual Metro train, although the Metro train will run in 6 km, but after a year the Metro will last 17 km from Gandhi Nagar to Radisson Square. Currently, a 31km route will be built in the first phase, ending at the airport via the airport, Vijay Nagar, Ring Road, Bengali Colony Square, MG Road, Rajwada, Bada Ganpati. Master plan expert Jaywant Holkar says that if the city becomes a metropolis, the scope of the Metro route must also be increased. Cities like Mhow, Dewas must be linked to it, so that the settlement spreads to the suburbs. First BRTS became an example, now BTS was started in Indore ten years ago to promote public transport. It was the first pilot project in the country. It became an example for the whole country. More than seventy thousand passengers travel daily at 11 km long BRTs. Now the government itself has decided to demolish the BRTs. The municipal corporation will build bridges at intersections. As a result, BRTS is no longer considered useful. Cable cars will be seen in the future in the future; Cable cars will also be managed in a stumping areas of Indore. This is also done for this. People in areas such as Rajwada, Sarafa, MG Road will be able to travel by cable car. The Indore Development Authority has embarked on the project. Share this story -tags
