Legal rule is completely demolished in Uttar Pradesh
New -Delhi, the Supreme Court on Monday, said that the rule of law in Uttar Pradesh is completely over. After the FIR was filed by state police in civil matters, the CJI said: “The supremacy of the law in Uttar Pradesh is completely over. It is not acceptable to turn the civil matter into a criminal case.” A lawyer said it took a long time to resolve civil disputes, so that a fir was submitted. The CJI said: “What is happening in UP is wrong. The everyday civil matters are converted into criminal cases. It is absurd, not just money cannot be made a crime.” The CJI said: “We will instruct IO to come to the witness of the witness. Let the IO stand in the dock and make a criminal case … This is not the way to submit a charge sheet.” Let the IO teach a lesson. The bank further asked: “Just because civil matters last long, will you submit a fir and implement criminal law?” The Apex Court has ordered the IO of the relevant police station in Sector-39, Noida, to appear as a witness in the Lower Court and justify the fir in the case. The bank was involved in the accused Debu Singh and Deepak Singh, who was filed by the Allahabad High Court for refusal to cancel the criminal case against them by attorney Chand Qureshi. The Apex Court remained criminal proceedings against the petitioners in the Noida’s lower court, but said the case of the check against them will continue. Share this story -tags
