Tara McKay, assistant professor of medication, well being and society, will lead the research in collaboration with Christopher “Kitt” Carpenter, E. Bronson Ingram Chair in Economics and director of Public Coverage Research; Lauren Gaydosh, assistant professor of medication, well being, and society and public coverage research; and Gilbert Gonzales, assistant professor of well being coverage. The research will gather new longitudinal panel information from a cohort of 50- to 70-year-old sexual and gender minorities (SGM) residing in and round 4 midsize cities within the South: Birmingham and Montgomery, Alabama; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Nashville, Tennessee.
