These photos of Havana were edited to resemble a pastel-colored dreamland. French photographer Helene Havard captured scenes from Cuba’s capital to illustrate its striking architecture. Havard wanted to celebrate the city’s melting pot of French, Spanish and Moorish influences, but the project was birthed from her interest in the country’s political identity. “I tried to see (Cuba) in a very different way,” she said. “To try to imagine it as something dreamier, because it’s not easy (living there).” For more travel content, check out @cnntravel.
