The Dokki Misdemeanor Court ruled to cancel the ruling against the Egyptian artist Sumaya al-Khashab, and ruled that the criminal lawsuit had ended, in a case that accused her of signing a check without balance in favor of her ex-artist, Ahmed Saad.
Press sources revealed that Sumaya al-Khashab, through her lawyer, handed over a lawyer, Ahmed Saad Shik, a banker who was acceptable to pay an amount of one million pounds, which called on the court to cancel the ruling issued for her imprisonment for 3 years in a misdemeanor of a check without balance, according to Al-Watan newspaper.
The Dokki Court of Misdemeanor had ruled in absentia of imprisoning Sumaya al-Khashab for a period of 3 years, in a misdemeanor for a check without balance, which was set up against him by Ahmed Saad, and the court decided to compel her to pay a bail of 50 thousand pounds to stop the execution of the ruling, so the artist lodged an objection to the ruling.
It is noteworthy that the artist Sumaya Al-Khashab had commented on the sentence issued against her for 3 years imprisonment, and said that she will never leave her right, and that she forgave a lot about her right, but she will not tolerate anymore, and will get all her rights and the law.
She added that Ahmed Saad agreed with her to waive the dowry of the dowry and its expense due to his inability to pay it, and accordingly the agreement was to waive the dowry and the expense, and that the check be cashed only after signing the waiver contracts, and given her sudden travel she asked him to wait until her return and sign contracts The waiver and his payment of the check, but he took advantage of her absence to obtain a judgment in absentia despite her agreement with him, which caused her lawyer not to go to the session, and thus obtained the ruling.
