Tunisian artist Saber al-Ribai made many statements about his artistic and personal life, which the public has never known before.

The Tunisian artist revealed that he would have presented a song with the participation of the late Algerian artist Warda, but it was not done, stressing that his relationship with the Algerian aura was like a relationship with her son, and she was very close to him.

Saber added: "She was always cooking me an Algerian couscous and pasta, and as I was entering the house with her sons sitting on a sofa and working knitting and wool simply and modestly, her age is not so strong as a star of the height of her humility and simplicity."

On the other hand, the Tunisian artist confirmed that he did not regret not to go through the experience of acting, and revealed that he had initially offered him several works, but he rejected them, including the film "Love Girls", which was the same role played by the artist Ashraf Abdel-Baki later.

Asked why he refused to accept the film, he said it was not known in Egypt so he felt it would be difficult and it was an adventure he was afraid of, especially as he would have faced a great artist such as Laila Alawi, who might consider acting in the coming period.

Saber also expressed regret for his rejection of two songs, "Saber Radi" and "Lovers of another time" and Tan Ghannamah George Wassouf, and the song "Ghraibah El Nas" which sang by Wael Jassar. These songs achieved great success, while the song that he gave and regretted was a song "Mermaid".

The Tunisian artist also revealed that his song "simply" was for the singer Ehab Tawfiq, and that he took it from the composer Walid Saad before it was recorded by Ehab, asserting that he did not initially know that it was for Ihab.
