Pink Sox pitching prospect Noah Tune, who had a powerful season with Lowell final summer season after being drafted out of the Naval Academy, is placing his baseball profession on maintain.
Based on the Capital Gazette, Tune has been ordered to report back to flight college at Naval Air Station Pensacola no later than June 26.
The proper-hander graduated from the Naval Academy and was commissioned as a naval flight officer final Could. Chosen within the fourth spherical by the Pink Sox in June, he had a good debut season within the Boston system. Rated by Baseball America as one of many Pink Sox Prime 10 prospects, he spent the summer season with the Lowell Spinners, and posted spectacular numbers: a 1.06 ERA, with 19 strikeouts and 5 walks in 17 innings.
