Stephen Martino, Director of the Maryland Lottery, introduced at a press convention this morning that the ticket was claimed by three very joyful people. The three mates, all of whom work in Maryland’s public training system, will share the $218.6 million portion of the record-breaking $656 million jackpot from March 30.
The winners, who referred to themselves as “The Three Amigos,” arrived at Lottery headquarters with their monetary advisor and selected the money possibility of $158 million.
