Kombucha tea is an age old remedy used by the Ancient Chinese over a thousand years ago. This is used to strengthen the lower parts of the digestive system such as the intestines or colon. It acts as a probiotic which feeds the friendly bacteria in the digestive tract. This allows the body to absorb more nutrients from food, and break down food more easily.
Many people drink Kombucha for weight loss, however you should limit your consumption as this drink does contain sugar. Sugar spikes the insulin hormone which slows down fat burning. 1-2 Cups a day is sufficient to provide health benefits and boost digestion.
