  1. I deleted my account after an experiment at college revealed that facebook listens to your conversations so they can give you optimal ads based on your conversations. It was really disturbing. Plus im tired of the lies the ceo of facebook says.

  2. I had an account for a few weeks, decided it wasn’t for, then went through the correct procedures to deactivate the account completely. I would say a little over 4 years later I was receiving text messages from friends and family asking why I would not respond to messages on Facebook. I explained I no longer had an account and didn’t for many years at that point. It was only when a friend had shown me the account had been reactivated ( somewhere in the south of Ireland). It was clear someone somehow had access to it. Luckily there was no personal Information in the account, so once again, following facebooks procedures for deleting and deactivating the, I had it shut down. I’m told that this happens a lot . Social media in general is a good and positive tool, but it concerns me that the powers behind the scenes are quiet clearly using it to influence people’s minds for their own agendas. To many young people are having their whole lives governed by far to much political thinking. Society in general seems to becoming slaves to the internet when really it was a tool that was meant to serve them.

  3. Is Facebook on it's way out?

"Visits to Facebook have almost halved in the last two years, with younger internet users flocking to its rival YouTube, a market research study has revealed. The Google-owned video platform could soon snatch the number two spot from the social network, second only to its parent company. Facebook has seen a significant drop in monthly page visits, plummeting 3.8 billion visits from 8.5 billion to 4.7 billion over the last two years. While the Facebook mobile app's traffic has grown steadily over that period, it has not been by enough to plug the gap, experts say."

Part of the problem is Zuckerberg, worth $67 billion, down from $79 billion due to recent scandals is a tight B who pays his moderators just $1 an hour. They of course come from the third world, and many of them are muslim. You can insult almost anyone on Facebook (I am talking harmless stuff like saying your mom wears army boots) but dare to insult a muslim, Muhammad, islam or any muslim country, even child rapists, and they will get you suspended for 30 days. And there is no appeals process so they can effectively do what they want.

I got suspended for quoting from the Wikipedia and Britain's Daily Mail newspaper (which is answerable to the Press Complaints Comittee, which can issue unlimited fines). Effectively, Facebook is run by muslims who see nothing wrong with beheading videos on Facebook for three years and more and videos and posts from muslim terror organisations belonging to FB but the same moderators will suspend you on a whim.
