Egyptian artist Ehab Tawfik mourned the body of his father, who died on the morning of Thursday, January 9, after a fire broke out in his villa, from Al-Salam Mosque, after Maghrib prayer, after the funeral was delayed due to the completion of legal procedures.
The funeral witnessed the attendance of a number of art stars, including artist Nadia Mustafa, artist Hamid El Shaery, artist Mostafa Kamel, and others.
The initial examination of the villa fire accident, Ihab Tawfiq, had revealed that a fire broke out with one of the electrical appliances, which caused the outbreak of fire in the villa.
The source added that with the examination and the question of the workers in the house, they confirmed that the fire caught fire with a heater on the first floor of the villa, which no one could control, which resulted in the death of the father of the artist Ihab Tawfiq, as he suffocated, and no one managed to save him.
The operations room of the Civil Protection Department in Cairo had received a notification of a fire in the villa of the artist Ihab Tawfiq in the Department of First Division, Nasr City. Immediately, 8 fire engines were fired and the fire was controlled before its extension.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian artist, Ihab Tawfiq, had recently finished recording his new album dedicated to children, which includes about 10 songs, all of the lyrics of the poet Awad Badawi, who is betting on him strongly during the coming period.
