Camp Ashland in Nebraska suffered historic flooding in recent days after a nearby levee broke and released thousands of gallons of water into the low-lying area, according to the Nebraska National Guard. More than eight million people were still under flood warnings in the Midwest and the Mississippi River Valley on Monday after a “bomb cyclone” slammed the central US last week with hurricane-like winds and blizzard conditions. At least three people have been killed as a result of high waters across the region. (📸: Nebraska National Guard)
