As DIFC’s foodie revival continues, a model new restaurant is ready to open its doorways among the many spectacular current array, this time bringing high-end Asian dishes to Dubai’s monetary centre.
Known as Shanghai Me, the upscale Asian restaurant is impressed by the glamour of 1930s Shanghai, and can open its doorways in The Trade constructing this October.
Shanghai Me shall be cut up between an opulent bar and lounge, bamboo-lined terrace, restaurant and personal eating space with plush, rich-hued interiors and art-deco detailing that pay tribute to Asian traditions.
The homegrown restaurant will open for lunch and dinner, with the bar serving as a brand new late-night hotspot for the DIFC crowd.
On the menu, company can count on a mix of flavours from throughout East Asia, with a mixture of lighter plates and extra indulgent dishes designed to go well with each style.
Created by Bulldozer Group, the restaurant provides to their spectacular current portfolio of eating places that features Gaia, Cipriani and Scalini.
Evgeny Kuzin, co-founder and managing accomplice of Bulldozer Group stated, “We have now taken our time to discover every ingredient of the idea, to be able to create a playful, energetic setting that highlights the power of Dubai’s culinary panorama and could be exported around the globe.”
Shanghai Me is considered one of plenty of soon-to-open restaurant ideas in DIFC, becoming a member of the already introduced Indochine, a famed New York restaurant that serves Vietnamese delicacies, Amazonico, which hails from Madrid, and the newest enterprise from chef Nusr-et Gocke, Salt Bae Burger.
