Pink Lentil Chilli for this wet day.🌶 INGREDIENTS
four dates (soaked and mashed into dated paste – about 2 half of tbsp)
1 brown onion
four cloves garlic
1 stalk celery
1 purple capsicum
2 cups purple lentil
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp pickld cumin combine (or common cumin)
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp chilli powder
Juice half of lemon
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Cube the onion, garlic, celery and capsicum small.
Sautée the onion in somewhat oil or water on medium warmth till mushy.
Add within the garlic for an additional minute turning the warmth down if the garlic begins to burn. Add within the celery and capsicum.
Add within the spices and sautee for an additional minute earlier than including the date paste for an additional minute.
Add within the lentils, tomatoes and a couple of cups of water.
Deliver to a gently simmer for about 40 minutes or till lentils are mushy.
Including extra water if it will get too dry.
As soon as lentil are cooked add in sea salt to style, juice of half of lemon and 1 tsp apple cider vinegar.
