Andaz Singapore’s new teppanyaki restaurant offers a private chef’s table experience

Joining the likes of Alley on 25, 665°F, and Auntie’s Wok and Steam, Teppan Chef’s Table is the newest restaurant to open at Andaz Singapore. Situated on the 25th floor of the building, the place offers weekday donburi set lunches that start from $22, drawing the working crowd with its mains prepared tableside and upon order.

Options include a vegetarian combo of shiitake mushrooms, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, and snap peas, plus proteins such as black angus tenderloin, chicken teriyaki, and miso Atlantic salmon. You can add onsen eggs ($2.50) to your order, and each set comes with a serving of salad, miso soup, pickles, and fruit.

Come evening time, the eatery offers a private chef’s table experience, with communal tables centred around the culinary action. An ever-evolving selection of omakase sets change based on seasonal ingredients, but take note that you’ll need a reservation to have dinner here, and the minimum spend for a booking is $1,500.
