TARLETON dancer Alastair Postlethwaite has been put back in to the final of So You Think You Can Dance after one of the other contestants was injured.
The classically trained ballet dancer was sensationally reinstated in to competition today after fellow dancer Robbie White discolated his shoulder in training and was unable to continue in the talent show.
Alastair was voted out on last Saturday’s show after judges judges Arlene Philips, Nigel Lythgoe, Louise Redknapp and Sisco Gomez decided to save Robbie.
Now Alastair, 28, will take his place in the final of the BBC1 show this Saturday night alongside Tommy Franzen, Lizzie Gough and Charlie Bruce.
Close friend Sarah Bridge said: “Alastair called us to tell us the news and we just couldn’t believe it. He said Robbie had had a fall and badly hurt his shoulder and he would be standing in for him in the final on Saturday. We feel really bad for Robbie but it is fantastic news for Alastair. He has to dance for his life on Saturday!”
