SIR Paul McCartney has revealed he has finally given up smoking cannabis after deciding “enough’s enough”.
Macca has been an unashamed dope smoker since the 1960sand has been arrested on occasions as well as famously being deported from Japan in 1980. But now the ex-Beatle, 69, said being a parent again had played its part in his decision to quit. Sir Paul has an eight-year-old daughter Beatrice from his relationship with second wife Heather Mills.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, he said: “I did a lot, and it was enough. I smoked my share. When you’re bringing up a youngster, your sense of responsibility does kick in.”
