Liverpool’s Bollywood star Amy Jackson appeared on ITV’s Lorraine to talk all about her Indian adventure.
The Scouser, who won Miss Liverpool back in 2010, was spotted by an Indian film director after winning the competition leading to a whole new career.
The 23-year-old beauty who starred as the lead female role in the Bollywood blockbuster I, told Lorraine: “It was a whirlwind”.
The former St Edwards pupil revealed that she has now learnt Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages.
Lorraine asked: “Being a Brit and going over there, has it been mostly positive?”
Amy explained: “I have been welcomed, I really have. India is my second home now, I’ve obviously got a place over there.”

“But then when I come back I can just chill, I can be me.”

She has signed up for four films that she will “start shooting from next week”.
