Britain’s Got Talent star Bailey McConnell is set to perform in Liverpool after touring the US.
The 16-year-old singer-songwriter will embark on his headline Crystalise summer tour in cities up and down the country.
Bailey has returned from America, where he took to the stage for 25 dates, and will be visiting Liverpool’s O2 Academy2 on Sunday, August 23.
He said: “The US tour was an amazing experience – to be able to travel Stateside for the first time and play my songs to a brand new audience was really special and I feel hugely privileged.
“The reaction from the crowd at every gig totally blew me away and it’s definitely helped me grow as an artist. Next stop – UK!
“I can’t wait to get back on home soil to perform ‘Crystalise’ which I’ve been working so hard on.”
Growing Pains singer Bailey, who penned his first song in 2012, was eliminated on Britain’s Got Talent in the fifth semi final of last year’s series.
His debut performance on the ITV show has more than 15 million views online and he boasts hundreds of thousands of fans on social media – with 297k followers on Instagram and 122k fans on Twitter.
Bailey is busy preparing for his nine-date headline tour throughout August with dates including Manchester and Birmingham.
The musician’s Crystalise gigs, which kick off in Glasgow on August 16, will follow the recent success of his 25-date US tour in April and May, and a sell-out UK tour earlier this year.
Crystalise is the name of the lead track taken from Bailey’s upcoming EP, which is due for release later this year.
