There’s talk of Mel C and her former Spice Girl band mates reuniting for a tour next year.
But Melanie Chisholm and pal Emma Bunton have staged a mini reunion of their own – when Baby Spice performed in a charity production of The Rocky Horror Show.
Sporty, who grew up in Widnes, was super proud of her BFF as she appeared at the Playhouse Theatre in London last night.
Emma, who stars in the musical alongside comedian Stephen Fry and Great British Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc, made an impact off stage too thanks to an outfit consisting of tiny hotpants and stockings.
Melanie C also soaked up the limelight on the red carpet, wearing a partially see-through top and a chic leather pencil skirt.
The friends made a beeline for each other during the after party before posing arm in arm for pictures.
She shared one snap on Instagram and captioned it: “Always strange seeing someone up on stage you are used to being on stage with and realising they’re even more amazing than you thought they were! #proud #yeahshesmymate ☺️ @emmaleebunton @rockyhorroruk #amnestyinternational.”
The singer, who is originally from Rainhill, was also impressed after seeing another of her pals, Ben Forster, in action.
Ben, who won the ITV1 series Superstar and went on to play the title role in the Jesus Christ Superstar UK arena tour alongside Melanie, starred as Brad.
The 41-year-old wrote: “Is there nothing @thebenforster can’t do?! My phenomenal Jesus, Magaldi and Brad! Can’t wait for Elf! Amazing show last night #RockyHorror.”
Earlier this month Geri Halliwell confirmed the former girl group were in talks for a reunion to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
Mel B has since revealed that if plans go ahead, it will feature all five members – including Victoria Beckham.
The Gala Charity Performance of The Rocky Horror Show supported Amnesty International.
