Stephanie Davis is among a list of famous faces who will head into the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight.
The former Hollyoaks actress was due to appear on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! last year.
But the ex-soap star had to give up her place to fellow Hollyoaks beauty Jorgie Porter due to a nut allergy.
But all was not lost and Stephanie sparked rumours she could be appearing on Channel 5’s famous reality TV show by saying she had some “amazing stuff coming up”.
And a CBB insider said: “Steph is gorgeous and will make great telly. The jungle’s loss is our gain.”
Who is Stephanie Davis?
Prescot actress Stephanie took part in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BBC1 reality show Over the Rainbow in 2011.
Despite missing out on the Dorothy role, she landed the part of Sinead O’Connor on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
Stephanie was with the Liverpool-made soap for six years before having her contract terminated in July last year.
Her agent revealed she was sacked following warnings for lateness, attendance, and a final incident in which she turned up to set unfit to work because of alcohol consumption.
The news came as a surprise to fans as just months before Stephanie had said how excited she was to have had signed a new year-long contract.
She tweeted after her last episode was aired in mid-September to say she had ‘never been happier.
The 22-year-old later spoke out about her partying antics, saying she “needed a break” and denied she had a drinking problem.
No doubt she will want to set the record straight about her Hollyoaks axe.
Stephanie is loved-up with model Sam Reece, who appeared on First Dates, regularly posting cosy photos of the pair on social media. So it’s unlikely there will be any romance in the house.
Stephanie Davis set her sights on a pop career like Rihanna after her time on Hollyoaks.
The actress revealed in September she had meetings lined up to talk about her singing.
She was confident she could carve a credible career in music, sharing several videos on her YouTube page of songs that she had written.
