Tony Bellew made his big screen debut in Creed – and tonight he joined Sylvester Stallone at its European premiere.
Hollywood superstar Stallone, Tessa Thompson and Michael B. Jordan all descended on London’s Leicester Square this evening.
Bellew walked the red carpet – which was lined with fans eager to celebrate the latest Rocky film – and, of course, catch a glimpse of the cast.
The Everton fan worked alongside Hollywood superstar Stallone on the Blockbuster, which was filmed in Philadelphia – Rocky’s home, Liverpool and Las Vegas.
The Liverpool boxer stepped onto the red carpet with his family at the star-studded screening in London.
Wearing a smart suit, Bellew also posed holding a punchbag emblazoned with ‘Creed’.
Earlier tonight he uploaded a happy family snap to Instagram as he prepared for the event.
He tweeted his 179,000 followers and said: “I’m sitting here with my family! I swear i’m waiting to be woken up. A normal Scouser going to a Movie premiere you couldn’t write it.”
Last year Stallone’s crew filmed scene at Goodison Park , with Everton fans being extras at half-time during their match against West Brom.
And with the club featuring in the movie, Everton fans were among the first to see the blockbuster at its Liverpool premiere tonight.
Hollyoaks’ Alice Barlow was among those attending the premiere at Liverpool One’s Odeon.
Directed by Ryan Coogler, the blockbuster sees Stallone reprise his role as the former World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Balboa who serves as a trainer and mentor to Adonis Johnson (played by Jordan), the son of his former rival Apollo Creed.
World cruiserweight contender Bellew plays ‘Pretty’ Ricky Conlan who takes on Adonis.
