Britain’s Got Talent ‘s singing sensation Beau Dermott has made Saturday’s final – and judges have tipped her to win.
Nine more acts took to the stage for the fourth live semi-final tonight, but 12-year-old Beau and dancer Balance were victorious.
Earlier in the evening, Beau, earned her spot in the final by impressing with her performance of Someone Like You from Jekyll and Hyde.
Beau, Balance and Tumar KR all topped the public vote, but judges David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden all put through Balance.
But it was the shy schoolgirl from Widnes , who was named the winner in tonight’s semi-final.
She was joined on stage by her proud mum, who said she was “overwhlemed” that her daughter could take this year’s crown.
She added: “Fantastic, loads of support and I am made up, absolutely thrilled”.
Speaking about whether it had sunk in, Beau said “Well not really but it’s amazing and thank you everyone for voting”.
However Liverpool-born drag artist Danny Beard’s , talent show dream came to an end tonight.
The performer, originally from Halewood, burst into tears after failing to impress Simon Cowel with his performance of I Need A Hero, and came in seventh place.
After tonights show the judges have already picked out Beau as a potential 2016 winner.
Referring to Beau, Simon Cowell said: “I have a hunch who is going to win and I think we might be seeing the birth of a star”.
A delighted Amanda Holden said: “She just did an amazing job”.
Asked by hosts Ant and Dec if the acts took it to another level Alesha Dixon said: “All of them but definitely Beau for sure. The first time we saw her we thought she was incredible but tonight I just looked like I was watching a star”.
