Steph Davis has given fans the first glimpse of her new baby boy – although she’s yet to reveal his name.
The former Hollyoaks actress gave birth to a healthy baby boy at Liverpool Womens Hospital – and today shared her delight by posting an adorable picture of her baby’s hand clutching her fingers.
The 23-year-old gushed over her new arrival, captioning the picture: “The day my world became complete.
“I’ve been overwhelmed and so in love with you. Words could never describe. Thank you all for your support.”
And it seems her new baby could soon follow in his mum’s famous footsteps – racking up over 25,000 Instagram likes in less than 30 minutes.
Hundreds of Steph’s fans rushed to the social media site to congratulate her on the news.
One commented: “Congratulations! He will be so loved.”
A fan also said: “Yay! congratulations. Welcome to motherhood.”
Another simply added: “Amazing” with a number of love heart emojis.”
A source told the ECHO that Steph’s baby boy was “Born at 11:57am, weighing 6lb 10oz, via normal delivery at Liverpool Womens Hospital.”
And a representative for the star told OK! Online: “We can confirm our client Stephanie Davis today gave birth to a baby boy in Liverpool.
“Mother & baby are doing fine.”
Jeremy McConnell, Steph’s ex-boyfriend and father of her new baby, is currently on holiday in Thailand and is not believed to have been present at the birth.
The Irish model reportedly has an open return back from Thailand, but has not yet been spotted back in the UK.
Steph was admitted to hospital on Wednesday and was in labour for almost two days with her first child.
The former Hollyoaks actress has had a well documented pregnancy, with Steph regularly sharing updates on her social media channel.
Steph has been silent on all platforms since Christmas Day, when she experienced “lightening bolt” pains – leading to fans speculating she was already in labour.
