Get ready to hit the road all over again, as the first trailer for the much-anticipated Fast & Furious 9 is coming tonight (January 31)
The first-look footage will give fans a glimpse at what Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto and the rest of his crew will be up to in the franchise’s ninth instalment (or 10th if we count spin-off Hobbs and Shaw).
And, just to get fans even more excited for the trailer drop, the film released a first-look teaser a few days ahead of the planned launch too.
The one-minute clip stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez as Dom Toretto reflects on how things have changed now that he’s a father, while Letty gives little Brian a gift.
“Your daddy gave me this,” she tells him. “And now I’m going to give it to you. It’s for protection… from what’s coming.”
The official full-length trailer will be live-streamed during an official launch event for the film called The Road to F9, which is taking place in Miami during the Super Bowl weekend.

The launch event is part of a spectacular concert featuring the likes of familiar faces from the franchise, including Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, as well as newcomers Cardi B and Ozuna.
Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa created a touching tribute to late actor Paul Walker with their song ‘See You Again’ in Furious 7, while Ozuna and Cardi B will be both appearing in the new sequel for the first time, alongside the return of fan-favourite star Ludacris.
Tyrese Gibson and TV personality Maria Menounos are hosting the concert, while the movie’s main cast members are all set to make guest appearances throughout the event, including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, John Cena and Nathalie Emmanuel.
Fast & Furious 9 will be released in cinemas on May 22.
