Danielle Lloyd has revealed she believes her six-year-old son, Harry, has Asperger’s syndrome in a live TV interview on This Morning.
The mum-of-four told ITV presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she often felt “judged” for her son’s behaviour.
Danielle, 33, gave birth to her fourth son, Ronnie, three weeks ago, but joined Holly and Phil on the sofa to talk about how she noticed something about Harry was different three years ago.
The former glamour model from Liverpool said: “Having four sons I can tell there’s something different. He’s socially awkward around other people.”
She also revealed that he often “shouted” when they were in public and said that he felt “judged” by other people for his behaviour, The Mirror reports.
Danielle said she has gone to get him tested for autism but is specifically looking into Asperger’s because his symptoms appeared to be very similar.
She claimed that Harry would rather “lock himself in his room” rather than socialise with other children, adding: “He can’t look people in the eye and he doesn’t like loud noises.”
The former Miss England, who is engaged to her electrician boyfriend Michael O’Neil, said that she hoped that they would get a diagnosis for her son soon.
“Harry’s just Harry,” she said. “I just want to get him the help that he needs.”
