Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard shared a selfie of him and his son Lio on Instagram – and Liverpool fans were asking the same thing.
The 38-year-old posted the cute snap with the caption: “Long trip home from Aberdeen but always worth it to see my best mate.”
Many of his 7.6million followers loved the picture, and it had over 50,000 ‘likes’ within 40 minutes.
But some Liverpool FC fans had the same question about his son’s shirt.
One fan said: “What’s happening there lad why is he not in a red shirt?”
Another said: “Great pic…but a bad jersey.”
One-year-old Lio was wearing the official jersey of Rangers, the Scottish football club Gerrard now manages, in support of his dad.
But others love little Lio’s support for Rangers, one said: “Love his wee top.”
Another added: “Brilliant Stevie G Love the wee guys top.”
A third said: “Stevie g lad glad your pushing Celtic all the way class mate keep it going it would be great to see a Liverpool and rangers title celebration at the season’s end ynwa you legend.”
The dad-of-four took over as manager for Rangers in June 2018 on a four-year contract.
Gerrard’s Rangers side won 4-2 away to Aberdeen last night to cement second spot in the Scottish Premiership title race, leaving them six points behind reigning champions Celtic.
