QUICK AND EASY NIGERIAN CHICKEN STEW



This tomato based chicken stew is so delicious and surprisingly easy to make. You’ll love it!

INGREDIENTS:
500g free-range chicken, cut into about 5-6 pieces
1 can (400g) chopped tomato or 5 large fresh tomatoes, chopped into small cubes
1 medium red or brown onion, chopped
1 scotch bonnet pepper (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
1 tablespoon thyme
2 tablespoons all-purpose seasoning
¼ cup oil (rapeseed, coconut or vegetable oil)
¼ cup water
Salt to taste

  1. I’m not sure what a scotch bonnet pepper is in America. I searched for it at my grocery stores, even the expensive one and no match. Thanks for the recipe. So easy so simple. Ur a Godsend. I’m trying to lose weight so how do u drain the oil out without getting rid of all the other good juices n the finished recipe

  5. thank you for sharing, its nothing wrong with your portion of rice, who the hell packs unknown amounts of rice on their plate, i like my rice just like you have in your video, its healthier than piling mounds of rice on your plate.
