In this food tour of Dubai, we started with some of the most legendary of all Iranian kebabs in Dubai. I then took to exploring the spice souk, and finally we headed over to Bu Qtair to eat a whole fish fry – another one of the most famous, sort of Dubai street food style meals.

AL Ustad Special Kabab – The food here is spectacular. If you’re looking for some mind-blowing flavorful kebabs, this is the place to eat when you’re in Dubai. All the kebabs were amazing, but the lamb marinated lamb was mind-blowing.
Total price – 100 AED ($27.21)
but I think they hooked us up with some dishes

Al Bastakiya – This is a very interesting area of Dubai to explore, it’s a re-created old styles Dubai village. Unfortunately it was a little hot, 45 °C (113 °F) – And HUMID too!, but I still needed to head out and explore.

Boat ride – 1 AED ($0.27)

Lemon juice – 5 AED ($1.36)

Dubai Spice Souk – One of the best places to explore in Dubai is Deira, which is old Dubai, and the Dubai spice souk (market). The market is great to walk around and you’ll find spices galore.

Bu Qtair – When I asked you where I should eat in Dubai, Bu Qtair restaurant was one of the top recommendations. It’s a fish fry restaurant, where you order a whole fish and they deep fry the entire thing. It used to be a street food restaurant, but they now have an indoor restaurant, but the food is still amazing.
Total price – 170 AED ($46.27) for everything

  1. I hate it when in cmmnts section ppl start fighiting over the "nationality of food" n somehow show their superiority complexes…y hvent humans accpted tht all r equal..every race, nationality is just fr recognition not fr fighting..belive me once v accpt ppl as equal to us,there wil b no war..its high time v all come togethr n save ths planet earth from wars

  2. Always come back and watch your southeast asian food when i’m home sick; especially Vientaine, Laos (I’m from Laos, but came to study in Texas in the U.S). Also i’ve seen other food videos from your channel. I was surprised when he said “sabai dee” 1:09 lol.

  3. For once, Mark, can you eat one bite in a more normal way? Don't think you need to have your trademark, malnutritioned-refuge-pop-out eyes and that alligator-like snap at every morsel of food that comes your way. We understand you love food and you worship the gastronomic paradises but please, trying to make that expression so trademarked, so predictable and repeating it so many times during a clip just means you are either craving for more attention or someone has made you believe that such programmed expressions actually helps the cause! More normal please…being less desperate helps.
