Princess Diana’s favorite perfume has just been named, and it is still available in the market today.
According to Celebrity Fragrance Guide, the Princess of Wales loved using Penhaligon’s Bluebell perfume, which is a mixture of a fresh and fruity fragrance with citrus head notes and essences of Lily of the Valley, jasmine, rose, clove, and cinnamon.
The perfume comes in a beautiful packaging that is adorned with a blue bow. The scent may also be purchased today for $126.
Meanwhile, when Princess Diana was still alive, she loved to dress up and look glamorous, especially during royal functions. In 2017, her former makeup artist, Mary Greenwell, shared what it was like working for the mom of two.
“I was so privileged to do her make-up for years before her untimely death. She was an icon and her make-up was very, very simple,” she said.
Greenwell also said that Prince Charles’ ex-wife had stunning eyelashes so she never had to put a fake one on her. Princess Diana’s skin was also wonderful.
In related news, Princess Diana also made headlines this week after it was reported that her special Vogue honor may be passed on to Meghan Markle. Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful told Evening Standard that he is so into young royals, and the Duchess of Sussex is an example of how far he has come.
During his interview, Enninful was asked who among Kate Middleton and Markle has the better taste in fashion, and he said that they are quite different in this regard.
“They are different, it’s all fun and games. I’d love them both to be on the cover of Vogue,” he said.
The Duchess of Cambridge previously appeared on the cover of the popular fashion magazine in 2016 to mark Vogue’s 100th anniversary. Princess Diana, on the other hand, appeared on the cover of the publication in 1981, 1991, 1994, and 1997.
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie just had their joint interview on Vogue published last year.
