White comedian’s dreadlocks get him barred from gig at Snowflake Comedy Club

[ad_1]

Did you hear the one about a Caucasian comedian who was banned from performing at a Montreal campus comedy club because his hairstyle made him guilty of cultural appropriation?

Canadian comedian Zach Poitras is making headlines around the world not because of his act but because his dreadlocks got him banned from a University du Quebec comedy club, ironically called, the “Snowflake Comedy Club.”

It would be great if the name was meant to mock political correctness but it actually makes for truth in advertising. It’s run by a squadron of SJW losers with no appreciation for humour who require the comedy and comedians to be offense-free, both in content and hairstyles.

Yet, is a sanitized-for-your-protection mindset even possible in the realm of comedy?

And, why is it that the same progressives who fret over cultural appropriation believe the rules don’t apply to them, like for example, when the uber-progressive man-child running Canada went to India?

How did the lily-white Trudeaus believe they were exempt from the whole cultural appropriation racket?

In the final analysis, this cultural appropriation nonsense really boils down to the sheer audacity of those who feel entitled enough to “enforce” what others can, and cannot, borrow from other cultures.
