Lisa Armstrong has revealed her latest career venture after being axed from her position as makeup artist on Britain’s Got Talent.
The 42-year-old worked on the hit ITV programme for over a decade, but show bosses reportedly thought that it would be “untenable” for her to work alongside ex Ant McPartlin.
But Lisa, who works as head of makeup on Strictly Come Dancing, is on to bigger things as she today revealed on social media that she would be working with renowned makeup brand Avon.
Lisa teased the exciting news by sharing a snap of herself on Instagram holding a pink lipstick and smiling for the camera.
She wrote: “Fab day with one of my gab brands @Avon_UK talking all about perfect nude lipsticks #comingsoon #nudeismystyle xxx,” she wrote alongside the snap.”
The news comes after it was announced that Lisa would no longer work on the long-running hit ITV talent show. An insider claimed to the Mirror that they wanted Ant McPartlin to come back to work with “no distractions.”
They told the publication: “Although everyone is very fond of Lisa, it was clearly untenable to carry on working together.”
“Ant and Dec are two of the most senior people on the show, sometimes these tough decisions have to be made.”
Meanwhile, Ant returned to work alongside best pal Dec today after taking a break following his drink-driving arrest last March.
The popular ITV presenters shared a selfie together on their joint Instagram account confirming the news, much to the delight of their fans.
