Very few words, in fact — less than a sentence was dedicated to the smartwatch, which is expected to launch sometime this quarter We still don't have a release date, or any new images, or a price. What we do have, however, is confirmation that the G Watch will work with all Android devices running Android 4.3 or higher The G Watch was first an**unced by LG in March. In this context, the broader Android compatibility makes a lot of sense. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean was the first version to offer robust Bluetooth 4.0 LE (low energy) support. Bluetooth LE is what helps Android Wear — and most other smartwatch and wearable platforms — work.
